Set up your workspace
The five things worth doing in your first hour with Vendra One: company details, users, pipeline stages, numbers and your first import.
A new workspace is deliberately empty. These five steps take about an hour and cover everything you need before real work goes in.
Company details first
Open Account → Company and fill in the legal name, address and VAT number. These appear on every invoice you send, and changing them later does not retroactively fix invoices already issued.
Decide your pipeline stages before importing
Stages are easy to rename and painful to restructure once deals sit in them. Most small teams need four to six: something like Lead, Qualified, Proposal, Negotiation, Won. Resist adding a stage for every internal nuance — a stage should mean the deal moved, not that someone did a task.
Invite the people who will actually use it
Under Account → Your team, add each colleague with the role that matches what they do. Roles control what people can see and change, so a Sales Representative does not get the billing screen and an Accountant does not get to delete deals.
Connect a phone number if you bought Dial
Buy a number in Dial → Numbers or connect your own SIP trunk. A number can be assigned to a person or to a team, so an inbound call rings whoever is on duty rather than one individual.
Import last
Import contacts once the stages and owners exist, so records land in the right place instead of needing a second pass. See Import contacts & leads.
