The small print, in full
The free month is added once your friend has paid for at least one month — not when they sign up, and not during their trial. We check each one by hand, which usually takes a day or two. It has to be a different company from yours: a second account for the same business is not a referral, and we will void those rather than pretend not to notice. Free months are added to your existing plan and cannot be exchanged for money. If your friend cancels and asks for a refund, the month goes with it.
